St. Mary the Immaculate Conception | Megan + Scott

January 14, 2022

Megan and Scott had the most beautiful wedding day at St. Mary the Immaculate Conception. Before the ceremony, they opted for a first touch! I always love when my couples choose to do a first look or a first touch as it provides them with an extra special moment in their day. Since having a moment alone with your partner on your wedding day is far and few between, this is a huge benefit.

First touches are great for couples who want an intimate moment with their soon-to-be spouse before the ceremony but still preserve the big reveal for walking down the aisle. During the first touch, they held hands while on either side of the corner of the building and read each other their vows. It was a truly touching moment- almost as touching as the emotional first look Megan had with her dad!

Throughout the day, there wasn’t a dry eye around. Scott got a bit teary-eyed as Megan walked down the aisle towards him. So many touching moments I had the pleasure of capturing! Thank you Megan and Scott for allowing me the incredible honor that was being trusted with capturing your special day at St. Mary the Immaculate Conception!

It’s one that I’ll never forget and a memory I’ll forever cherish!
