Bread and Chocolate Wedding | Hannah + Austin

September 7, 2022

sparkler wedding exit

Hannah and Austin’s Bread and Chocolate wedding day was incredible. But, let me start from the beginning. Not only did I get to witness this beautiful bride grow up since she was just 4 years old, but I was also honored to photograph her engagement and wedding. I really can’t put into words how gorgeous Hannah and Austin’s day was. Between the initials on Austin’s cuff links in honor of his father and the neon sign with their last name on it. Everything was so beautifully placed at their stunning Bread and Chocolate wedding venue.

My favorite part of the day was when Hannah’s great-grandfather arrived during family photos. She didn’t expect him to make it due to Covid but the moment she saw his tears instantly swelled in her eyes. I know that she’ll cherish that moment for the rest of her life. This family is just full of surprises! During their reception, Hannah took the microphone from the DJ and surprised her grandfather by having everyone sing Happy Birthday to him and had a personal cherry pie (his favorite) delivered right to his seat! He had no idea it was coming. His smile says it all.

Since I’ve known Hannah so long and have watched her and Austin’s relationship grow over the years, I was more emotional throughout the day than I normally am on any other wedding day. Time is such a thief and I can’t believe that Lil miss Hannah is married to the man of her dreams!

KIND WORDS

“My husband and I randomly found Kim on Instagram and we both instantly fell in love with her work, it was exactly the aesthetic we were wanting for our engagement/wedding photos. We are so happy we found her! She did an AMAZING job — neither my husband and I are big picture takers but she made it a lot of fun! She is super cool and sweet — it was great having her there for our big day and we felt very confident that she’d pull everything off and capture everything we wanted. We LOVE our photos!!! Plus it is super cool that she is an elopement photographer as well. We plan on hiring Kim for future professional photos!”
