Elopements

Beach Elopement | The Whelchel’s

January 24, 2022

This beach elopement was for sure one for the books! It was an absolutely gorgeous day out for this sweet couple and filled with so many touching moments. The bride did a first look with her dad which (not going to lie) brought a tear to my eyes as I was capturing it!

I always love capturing elopements as it’s such an incredibly intimate setting. Elopements always feel super cozy and calm so when you mix it with the beauty of the beach, you have yourself magic! Besides how sweet they are, elopements are also a great option for introverts who don’t like big crowds or a couple who is trying to save some money! Typically, elopements are much cheaper than weddings and also allow for much more flexibility. When eloping, you can get married on a mountain, by a waterfall, or on the beach of a far-off location!

Sarah and Matthew’s day was so much fun and I can’t go without mentioning the reception! When scrolling through this post, you’ll see their wedding day ended with everyone in the pool. It was so. dang. fun!

Congratulations again Sarah and Matthew! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture the magic that was your day!
