Chicago Engagement Session | Kelsey + Danny

September 21, 2022

Kelsey and Danny’s Chicago engagement session was so much fun. We started off the day by roaming the trails within Lincoln Park and ending our session at North Avenue Beach. Being a lover of nature, I was determined to find a spot with foliage in the city. And the skyline behind the trees is CHEFS FREAKIN’ KISS! It brings the city and nature together to get the best of both worlds.

They brought along their sweet pup who was so sweet and so well behaved. This was a fun way to add him to their engagement photos and I always love meeting these little guys too! When we started off at Lincoln park, we toured the area a bit and were able to get a ton of beautiful architecture in the background of the photos.

If you’ve never been to Lincoln park, come and take a visit! It’s a great photo op area and is fun for families or couples to walk around. After the sun started to go down we headed to North Avenue Beach. North Avenue beach was the best end to our day and a perfect way to break up the session. Danny and Kelsey had an outfit change and we got some memorable photos with that city skyline in the back!

“Kim is truly the best!!!! I am so glad that we found her. She did an amazing job with both our engagement & wedding photos. I believe she is so great & talented at what she does, that I put all my faith and trust in her to do her thing and she did NOT disappoint! But what I love most about Kim is her personality. She is so kind, funny and awesome to work with. I remember my husband and I were a little nervous for our engagement photos but Kim really helped us loosen up, relax and within a few minutes, we felt comfortable with her. She also gave us excellent posing cues and prompts during our session. Throughout the whole planning process, Kim was always informative, helpful, quick to reply and very patient with my endless questions & comments, which as a stressed bride, I really appreciated. On our big day, she helped keep us on schedule and made sure to focus on the moments that were most important to my husband and I. She also worked really well with and was very respectful to all of our other vendors. And she was open to suggestions/ideas from our videographer, which I think shows that she truly wants only the best for her clients. Kim’s turn around time is also super fast… she got us all of our engagement photos and 60+ sneak peak wedding photos within DAYS!!! I simply cannot recommend her enough. If you are considering her as your photographer, I highly suggest you book her immediately!!!”
