Myrissa and Eli’s Indiana fall wedding was definitely one of the favorites I’ve captured! They had an outdoor ceremony which was absolutely gorgeous. The wedding colors they chose were perfect for the fall season and were very romantic.
They decided not to do a first look and saved the grand reveal for when she walked down the aisle towards him. His reaction was priceless and everyone got teary-eyed (including me). They wrote their own vows which made the ceremony that much better! As they exited the ceremony, the guests blew bubbles which made for some great photos. After they left the ceremony they used a branding tool in the shape of an “M” to brand a piece of wood with the initial of their last name! I thought this was a great idea and now they’ll be able to hang it up in their house and remember that moment every time they walk past it.
When planning their wedding, Eli and Myrissa did a great job of adding in fun details that brought out their personalities. One of the fun details they added was having all the bridesmaids join Myrissa in wearing cowboy boots under their dresses. They LOVE Chick-fil-A, so instead of having a traditional meal at the reception they had Chick-fil-A catered and everyone loved it! They’re a fun-loving couple so during the reception they played a game called “the shoe game.” It’s a very popular game played at weddings to help the guests get to know the couple better and also make everyone laugh.

KIND WORDS
“Kim’s work is absolutely amazing! We did a mini session with Kim for our holiday pictures a few weeks ago! The weather was cold and wet but our pictures look so warm and cozy, we love them so much! I would fly Kim across the country if it meant she was taking pictures for a special day! She is also SO cool and so fun to be around! We highly recommend her!”
