Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Wedding at TRS Coral Hotel Cancun

June 1, 2025

Bride and grooms Cancun destination wedding photos at TRS Coral Hotel

If you’re dreaming of a destination wedding that feels luxe but laid-back, elegant yet so full of personality—you’re going to want to see this Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres wedding at TRS Coral Hotel. I had the honor of capturing Sam and Alex’s Newfield’s Engagement Session back in Indiana too, so being there for their wedding day was extra special. They threw one heck of a party under the stars, complete with a waterfront ceremony, beach portraits, and a reception that felt like a full-blown rave—LED water drums and all. This one was unforgettable!

The Details, Getting Ready & First Looks at TRS Coral Hotel in Cancun

Sam and Alex kicked off their wedding day in the dreamiest way—getting ready separately at TRS Coral Hotel with panoramic ocean views and all the sunshine Cancun could offer. Seriously, the view from their rooms? Straight out of a postcard.

Sam looked so beautiful in her off-the-shoulder lace gown (with the prettiest train ever), while Alex looked equally sharp in his classic black tux and sage green bowtie. It added the perfect pop of color for a destination Cancun wedding!

Their first look outside the hotel was the sweetest mix of nerves and pure joy. The second Alex turned around? Game over. Tears. Big smiles. That “this is really happening” kind of energy. It was one of those moments that hits in all the best ways!

Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Wedding Ceremony at TRS Coral Hotel Cancun at Deck in The Village

Sam and Alex said “I do” at the Deck in the Village, and if you’ve ever dreamed of a destination wedding that’s equal parts romantic and let’s party, this was it. Set beside a quiet lagoon with tropical greenery and the perfect Cancun breeze, this spot brought all the vacation-meets-wedding vibes. Their all-white floral setup was clean, classy, and just enough to let that stunning view shine without competing.

The second they sealed it with a kiss, the celebration was on—like, champagne-waiting-on-ice kind of on. Sam had a glass in hand while the crew popped bottles, toasted in the sun, and hopped on rocking horses—because why not?! It was the perfect kickoff to the rest of the day—fun, wild, and so them!

Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Wedding Portraits at TRS Coral Hotel in Cancun, Mexico

After their ceremony, we explored the jaw-dropping grounds of Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres for their newlywed portraits—and I’m telling you, this resort is a dream to shoot at. Every corner you turn looks like a magazine cover waiting to happen. Modern architecture, palm-lined paths, and that iconic white lattice? TRS Coral delivered at every turn. We even hopped on a boat for the cutest little ride, because when you’re getting married in paradise, you go full send!

Every backdrop gave us something different, and Sam and Alex were absolutely glowing the entire time. Their energy was unmatched and the vibes? Immaculate. I’ve shot destination weddings all over, but this one is forever on my highlight reel! Already counting down the days ’til I’m back at TRS Coral for another stunning wedding day.

Elegant + Fun Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Wedding Reception

After their golden hour portraits, Sam and Alex kicked off their reception at the stunning TRS Coral Hotel—and wow, did this place show up. The deck space here is chef’s kiss for a Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres wedding. Twinkle lights, lush florals, and the ocean just beyond the railing—total destination wedding magic. Literally every angle felt like it was made for the camera (and your Pinterest board).

I’ve shot a lot of receptions, and this one had the perfect balance of elegance and full-on fun. Guests were on their feet the second the newlyweds entered, waving napkins in the air. The energy was unmatched. And then they brought out the LED water drums for an epic live performance. The couple joined in, smashing glowing drumsticks into bursts of neon water. It was chaotic in the best way, and shows how they made this destination wedding truly their own!

TRS Coral really knows how to host a party. From the seamless service to the jaw-dropping ambiance, it’s clear why this venue is a favorite for destination weddings in Cancun. As a photographer, I seriously can’t wait to come back here again—and again!
