Kristin and Mark’s Asheville micro wedding at The Bunn House was intimate, colorful, and dreamy in all the best ways. From the quiet charm of the venue to the vibrant spring florals and thoughtful details woven throughout the day. Everything about this day felt intentional, warm, and totally unforgettable!

The Details, Getting Ready, & a First Look
Kristin and Mark’s wedding day at The Bunn House kicked off with some seriously pretty details. Green and white invitations, pearl drop earrings, and the kind of florals that immediately stop you in your tracks. Kristin got ready with her mom and wore the most beautiful embroidered gown. She even had the cutest blue heels tucked under all that dreamy tulle. Mark’s tie had a hidden photo stitched inside, and their whole morning felt personal in the best way.
Their first look happened in the backyard greenery, and Mark’s face lit up the second he saw her. He couldn’t stop smiling. They held hands, took it all in, and then read their private vows to each other before the whirlwind of the day began. It was intimate, low-key, and filled with so much emotion. The best kind of pause before the party!

Asheville Micro Wedding Party Photos at The Bunn House
Because Kristin and Mark did a first look, we knocked out wedding party photos before the ceremony. There was no rush, no stress, and way more time for them to just enjoy the day. Their crew understood the assignment and showed up ready to hype up the bride and groom in the best way.
The bridesmaids wore a mix of sage, florals, and soft pastels that looked so good together without being too matchy-matchy. It felt effortless but clearly had taste. Petal and Fern nailed it with the bouquets full of color and texture that pulled everything together. This Asheville micro wedding had no shortage of style, and this group definitely brought the fun!

Outdoor Asheville Micro Wedding Ceremony in The Gardens at The Bunn House
The garden ceremony at The Bunn House was straight-up stunning. This Asheville wedding venue sits on nearly an acre and a half of beautifully kept grounds, and the setup couldn’t have been more perfect. Rows of wooden chairs lined the lawn, facing the most colorful spring floral arrangements. They were wild and joyful in the best way! Pops of pink, yellow, orange, and purple layered together. So perfect for a spring wedding!
Before the ceremony even started, Kristin and Mark swapped the traditional flower girls for bubble boys, who made their entrance with giant bubble guns. Mark’s dad officiated the ceremony, which made the whole thing feel that much more personal. You could feel all the love. And yes, I absolutely had to break out the drone for this one because when the setting looks this good, you get the shot from every angle. The full garden, the geometric hedges, the tucked-away downtown Asheville charm. It was a ceremony worth capturing from the ground and the sky!

Kristin & Mark’s Asheville Micro Wedding Portraits at The Bunn House
When it comes to an Asheville micro wedding, it’s hard to beat the setting that The Bunn House offers. The entire space feels like an intimate hidden garden tucked right into the city. It’s lush, vibrant, and so romantic.
Kristin and Mark made the most of it, strolling hand-in-hand through the perfectly manicured hedges, sharing laughs by the fountain, and soaking up that dreamy golden hour glow on the rooftop. The setting did what all great wedding venues should do. It elevated their portraits while still letting their personalities take center stage. Whether it was stealing a quiet moment above the skyline or walking the lawn like it was their own backyard, the entire afternoon felt like a fairytale.

A Colorful Cocktail Hour & Reception at The Bunn House
Kristin and Mark’s Asheville cocktail hour and micro wedding reception at The Bunn House was dreamy, colorful, and intimate. It was the kind of night that felt personal and stylish from start to finish. It was styled to perfection with vibrant florals, romantic candles, and thoughtful little touches that gave everything a warm, welcoming glow. Guests wore custom heart-shaped sunglasses with the couple’s initials (a party favor AND a vibe), and golden hour made the whole evening feel like a spring daydream.
Kristin changed into a cute floral reception dress, and her and Mark even had fun behind the DJ booth. Uptown Entertainment kept the dance floor packed and the energy high all night long, and they even had bubble guns which were so fun for photos. This Asheville micro wedding was proof that a tented reception can be just as elevated and gorgeous as any ballroom!
