If you’re someone who lives for jaw-dropping details and weddings that feel like actual work of art, then you’re going to want to take a scroll through Taylor and Noah’s Sixpence wedding in Indianapolis. Picture vibrant colors, an editorial vibe that could grace the pages of a magazine, and thoughtful touches around every corner that left me swooning. It was colorful, editorial, and the details were just a total showstopper! This wasn’t just a wedding—it was an experience, a celebration of style and love that was completely out of this world! Trust me, you’re not going to want to miss a single detail of this day!
The Details, Getting Ready, & First Looks
Taylor and Noah kicked off their wedding day getting ready with their favorite people in separate suites at The Sixpence wedding venue. Taylor got ready in The Loft Suite—a dreamy, spacious suite. She wore a stunning dress from Marie Gabriel Bridal with a fitted silhouette paired with vintage-inspired gloves that brought just right mix of timeless elegance and modern flair. Afterward, she did a first look with her bridesmaids, followed by a first look with her father and her brothers.
Meanwhile, Noah and his groomsmen got ready in The Study Suite. It was the perfect spot for the guys to relax and suit up in style. He kept it classic with a sharp black tux and colorful boutonniere. Once they were both ready, Taylor and Noah shared a sweet first look and exchanged private vows.
Colorful Outdoor Sixpence Wedding Ceremony on The Patio
Taylor and Noah’s outdoor Sixpence wedding ceremony on The Patio was stunning! They had rows of white chairs that lined the aisle with vibrant floral arrangements that featured pops of pink, yellow, orange and blue. I especially loved their personalized wooden cutting boards that displayed the seating assignments which really added a unique touch to their wedding. After the ceremony, Taylor and Noah walked back down the aisle with a colorful petal toss, and you could just see it in their expressions at how happy they were to be Mr. and Mrs. Hummel!
Editorial Wedding Party Photos & Bride and Groom Portraits in The Garden
The Hummel’s wedding party photos were full of so much style, personality, and of course, color! The groomsmen stayed sleek in their classic black tux’s, each rocking vibrant boutonnieres that added a pop of color to their attire. The bridesmaids stunned in a mix of pastel and floral dresses, each holding delicate bouquets by Wedding Florals by Patty that tied into the overall color palette. And the parasols? Iconic and so editorial! It all felt so whimsy and elegant. The entire wedding party gathered in front of the iconic Sixpence barn, and the photos were EVERYTHING!
Now, let’s talk about Noah and Taylor’s portraits in The Gardens at Sixpence, honey. Oh, this wasn’t just a stroll through the flowers; this was a romance novel come to life. The gardens were bursting with blooms. And the couple? They brought all the love, the elegance, and the vibes as they wandered through the lush greenery and florals! The light was kissing just right, and every moment really felt like a masterpiece. I couldn’t wait to go back through these after the wedding!
Colorful Indoor Wedding Reception in The Barn of Sixpence Wedding Venue in Indianapolis
Just like every other part of their day, the reception was nothing short of a masterpiece of details, with every corner of The Sixpence barn dripping in color. I mean, those jaw-dropping chandeliers—literal showstoppers that cast a soft, romantic glow over the checkerboard dance floor. The tables? Oh, honey, they were styled to perfect with sage green linens, gingham napkins, and tall, whimsical floral pieces bursting with color and personality. This wasn’t just a reception, this was an experience, and I was drooling while getting to capture the beauty of it all!
The cakes, made by Sugar by Arielle and Gwendolyn Lee Cakery, looked almost too good to eat—almost. 😉 I loved the vintage piping details! Taylor stole the show yet again with her reception look: a high-neck mini dress with feathers, chic gloves, and playful heart-shaped sunglasses! The music was on fire, thanks to Troy from DJ Sound Solution, who kept the energy alive all night. And the Rolls Royce from 56 Classic Limo? Iconic. This wasn’t just a getaway car, it was a statement, which was fitting for the couple who knows how to do everything in style!
From the candy table to late-night pizza slices, every detail screamed fun. personality, and intention. Afterwards, they shared a private first dance and a sparkler exit. Truly, this was a night to remember! Cheers to The Hummel’s! 🥂
