Katie and Tom’s midwest backyard wedding was so beautiful. They put so much thought and intention into their day and it really showed. Katie chose to have first looks with not only Tom, but her bridesmaids and dad as well! It was so exciting seeing their reactions and getting to capture those awesome moments for her. Their bridal party was pretty big and consisted of 19 people. Everyone in the bridal party was fun-loving and they made the day so lively. I really enjoyed seeing how much love everyone had for the couple.
Tom and Katie planned the most perfect backyard wedding. If you’re thinking about having a backyard wedding yourself, I say do it! They can be absolutely beautiful and cost effective. This backyard wedding was in the late summer which made for the best weather, it wasn’t cold and the breeze kept everyone cool enough. The decorations and florals were stunning and I really loved the twinkle lights in the trees. Backyard weddings are a blank slate just waiting for all your creative ideas. KIND WORDS
“I would absolutely recommend Kim to everybody!! Was confident in her work and comfortable the whole time. Very responsive and communicated exceptionally!! I could tell her work really meant something to her and was trying her best to capture what I was wanting and show that there was meaning behind every photo. Another thing that I loved was that she also was open to ideas and able to take suggestions very well to be able to work together during the session as much as little as I wanted. 5/5 for me and I know whoever else hires her will agree with me. I hope to work with her again! Thank you so much Kim!”
